flow is a gentle, very specific touch that allows a person or animal to become
healthier, both physically and emotionally.
It was developed by Dr. Lance Wright, DC, to assist the body in dropping tension, thus increasing oxygen and blood flow. What makes flow unique is the direct communication that happens neurologically. Often, 2 to 5 touches in less than 5 minutes can bring substantial changes. flow can be done on any person or animal, regardless of age or physical condition.
The flow workshops Dr. Wright teaches are separated into
four groups:
Humans
Cats/Dogs
Horses
Wild Ones
flow can be incorporated into many disciplines and is available to lay persons, as well as health professionals.
flow can be done at any time and is especially useful when a person or animal is experiencing physical discomfort or stress, as well as emotional and behavioral conditions. flow is an excellent way to begin any interaction with an animal, or as a follow-up to any event.
Use flow before and/or after:
- Performance events such as horse dressage, barrel racing,
dog obedience trials, dog agility. - Going on a trail ride with your horse, taking your dog for a walk.
- Any traumatic experience such as a fall, separation anxiety,
thunderstorms, a trip to the vet.
